The South Portland High School football team dropped to 0-3 on the year with a 26-14 loss to Bonny Eagle at home last Friday night. It was the toughest test of the season for the defending state champ Scots (3-0), who rolled over Cheverus and Windham in their previous two contests by a combined score of 88-6.

The Red Riots will look for their first win on Friday night at 7 p.m. when they travel to Windham. The Eagles are 1-2 and coming off a 48-7 road win over Portland. When the teams met last season, South Portland pulled out a 7-6 victory.
