3/25 at 4:52 p.m. Paul Voisine, 46, of Hartford Avenue, Falmouth, was issued a summons by Animal Control Officer Charles Burnie on charges of dog at large and unlicensed dog.

3/10 at 10:33 a.m. Norman Morse, 89, of Blueberry Lane, Falmouth, was issued a summons by Animal Control Officer Charles Burnie on a charge of dog at large.

3/17 at 4:20 p.m. Norman Morse, 89, of Blueberry Lane, Falmouth, was issued a summons by Animal Control Officer Charles Burnie on a charge of dog at large.

Not too sick to drive

3/21 at 10:54 p.m. A man at Hannaford Supermarket was acting strange and the store manager went out to see if he was all right. But when the manager approached the car, the man accelerated and tried to run over him before taking off toward Portland. The manager called police but did not have a license plate number. Officers were unable to locate the man.

Flew the coop

3/22 at 7:55 p.m. A woman called police to report possible animal neglect. She said a bird in a cage in a rear window of Falmouth Flowers on Route 1 appeared to be without water and living in an extremely soiled cage. But when the animal control officer checked the building, there was no bird there.

Conservative approach

3/25 at 10:11 a.m. Police received a complaint from a woman who said she’d been called by someone saying he was with the Republican National Party. He attempted to solicit a contribution from her by asking for her credit card information. The woman refused to give out the information. An officer who called the organization’s Maine headquarters was told the group was not presently engaged in any fundraising activities.
