South Portland police charged a 30-year-old man with invasion of privacy after he was allegedly caught in a ladies bathroom peering over the stall at a woman.
Police arrested Andrew Goupil, 30, of South Portland on Sunday afternoon after receiving a call from Hannaford supermarket on Cottage Road.
Police were told that Goupil had been in the women’s bathroom and was caught looking over the stall partition at an employee who was using the bathroom.
An officer found Goupil and charged him with invasion of privacy and violating conditions of his release from a previous arrest, though police did not have information on that previous arrest.
Goupil is scheduled to make his initial court appearance today at 1 p.m.
