A Lisbon Falls teenager was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Lisbon Falls Saturday.
Lisbon Police said Andrew N. Chapman, 16, of Faith Street, was killed when his vehicle struck a tree at 152 Main St. at 5:12 a.m.
Chapman, who was driving the vehicle, was taken to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston and then flown to Maine Medical Center in Portland where he died late Saturday afternoon.
A passenger in the vehicle, Michael D. Coffin, 16, of Deerfoot Lane,Topsham, underwent surgery for serious injuries at Central Maine Medical Center, Lisbon Police said.
Passengers Judith Hursh, 15, and Alyssa Bourdreau, 18, both of 98 Main St., Lisbon Falls, were treated for injuries at Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick. Hursh was treated for multiple broken bones. Both have been released.
Lisbon Police said excessive speed was a factor in the accident, which is under investigation.
