Allie Clement scored 11 of her 22 points in the fourth quarter as McAuley used a 15-7 run in the fourth quarter to earn a 47-39 win over Cheverus in an SMAA girls’ basketball game Saturday.

Victoria Lux added 12 points and eight rebounds for McAuley (8-0), which extended its winning streak to 56 games.

Jess Willerson had 14 points and Laura Holman scored 13 for visiting Cheverus (4-3).

THORNTON ACADEMY 42, SCARBOROUGH 27: Olivia Shaw scored 12 points and Abigail Strickland added 11, including all five of her free throws late in the fourth quarter as the Trojans (6-1) pulled away from the Red Storm (5-3) at Saco.

Isabella Robinson came off the bench and sank a 3-pointer that helped Thornton start to pull away in the third quarter.

Bailey Adams led the Red Storm with 10 points.

DEERING 56, MARSHWOOD 48: Amanda Brett scored 19 points as the Rams (4-4) beat the Hawks (1-5) at Portland.

Deering trailed 31-30 at halftime, but Mary Tadsse highlighted a 13-6 run in the third quarter with six of her 15 points.

Katasia Titherington added 10 points for Deering. Macy Morrison scored 13 for Marshwood.

GORHAM 76, BONNY EAGLE 30: Abby Hamilton scored 10 first-quarter points and Emily Esposito added six as the Rams (5-3) raced out to a 28-7 lead on the way to a win over Bonny Eagle (2-6) in Gorham.

Hamilton and Esposito finished with 17 points each. Kristen Curley added 11 and Caitlyn Hawxwell scored 10.

SOUTH PORTLAND 80, MASSABESIC 43: Maddie Hasson scored 19 points to lead five Red Riots in double figures against the visiting Mustangs (0-7).

Paige Carter had 17 points, Mackenzie Bowring chipped in 12, and Holly Black and Brianne Maloney finished with 10 apiece for South Portland (6-2).

The Red Riots broke it open with a 23-7 run in the second quarter. Hasson had eight points and Maloney scored five.

Monica St. Armand scored 21 points and Jolena Lampron had 14 points for the Mustangs.

WELLS 60, WAYNFLETE 52: Alison Furness scored 14 of her 25 points in the second half, helping the Warriors (6-1) pull away from the visiting Flyers (4-2).

Stephanie Woods added 10 points for Wells, which turned a 30-27 halftime lead into a 58-39 fourth-quarter advantage before Waynflete closed the gap.

Helen Gray-Bauer had 21 points and Leigh Fernandez added 14 for the Flyers.

CAPE ELIZABETH 36, FALMOUTH 32: Emma O’Rourke scored nine of her 17 points in the fourth quarter, leading the Capers (5-2) on a 13-5 run that lifted them over the Yachtsmen (2-5) at Cape Elizabeth.

Montana Braxton added seven points and 10 rebounds.

GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 51, YARMOUTH 39: The Patriots (4-3) ended the game on an 8-0 run to pull away from Yarmouth (1-6) in Gray.

Maria Valente led Gray-New Gloucester with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Abigail Nielsen scored 12 for the Clippers and Shannon Fallon had 11.

YORK 51, TRAIP ACADEMY 34: Erin McCafferty scored six of her team-high nine points in the first quarter as the Wildcats (5-2) opened a 16-6 lead and went on to beat Traip Academy (3-2) in York.

Traip’s Alli Barrett led all scorers with 10 points.

NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 39, PINE TREE ACADEMY 38: Charlotte Esancy’s free throw with less than a second remaining gave the Panthers (2-3) a win over the Breakers (4-2) in Yarmouth.

Esancy sank a 3-pointer and four free throws in the fourth quarter as NYA outscored the Breakers 12-7. Hannah Carr scored the other five points.

Esancy finished with 17 points and Carr had 10. Alex Goodman scored 15 for Pine Tree, while Kim Emerson contributed 13.

LINCOLN ACADEMY 63, GARDINER 56: Jen Genthner had 26 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Eagles (5-2) past the Tigers (4-3) at Newcastle.

Barrett Campbell added 14 points, and Gabrielle Wajer had 10 points, nine assists and six steals for Lincoln, which used a 20-6 third-quarter run to take a 41-36 lead.

BOOTHBAY REGION 48, WISCASSET 30: Morgan Crocker scored 19 points, and Cagney O’Brien had 14 points and 12 rebounds for the Seahawks (4-3) at Boothbay Harbor.

Kayla Gordon paced Wiscasset with 14 points.

SEACOAST CHRISTIAN 28, HYDE 27: Julia Lord hit a field goal with seven seconds left to give the Guardians (2-4) a win over the Phoenix (1-3) at South Berwick.

Cassie Smith scored seven points, and Kristin Wittner and Ali Morin each had six for Seacoast.

Diamond Brown led Hyde with 13 points. Emma Leonard finished with eight.

SKOWHEGAN 65, MT. ARARAT 32: Andrea Quirion scored 18 points to lead the Indians (6-2) to a win over the Eagles (0-8) in Skowhegan.

Sarah Lamb led Mt. Ararat with eight points.

MESSALONSKEE 55, LEWISTON 35: Sophie Holmes scored 16 points and made four 3-pointers to lead the Eagles (6-2) over the Blue Devils (2-5) at Lewiston.

MT. BLUE 57, CONY 29: Miranda Nicely scored 24 points and Caitlin Kane added 10 to lead the Cougars (4-4) to a victory at Farmington.

OAK HILL 54, MADISON 47: The Raiders (5-3) outscored Madison 20-9 in the third quarter to take control at Wales.
