NEW FACES

Richard Ganong, of Boston and Brunswick, was named a senior vice president for development and alumni relations at Bowdoin College.

Ganong has more than 25 years of experience in the investment management industry. Most recently, he was a partner at Windhorse Capital Management, a Boston-based wealth management firm.

Joanna Rulf, D.O., a family medicine physician and specialist in integrative medicine, joined Central Maine Medical Center. She is practicing with Lisbon Family Practice in Lisbon.

Rulf previously completed an integrative medicine fellowship at Maine Medical Center.

She has served as a volunteer physician in Guatemala and was active in a global health interest group during her residency. She can speak Spanish.

PROMOTIONS

Molly Watson Shukie, Esq., who practices family law and handles workers’ compensation cases for Linnell, Choate & Webber, LLP, was elected partner.

Shukie is a 2004 graduate of Bates College and a 2009 graduate of the University of Maine School of Law. She was named a New England Super Lawyers “Rising Star” for 2013, and was recently acknowledged by the Maine Supreme Judicial Court’s Katahdin Counsel Recognition Program for her pro bono legal service.

BOARD APPOINTMENTS

Day One, based in South Portland, elected the following officers to its board of directors:

Kevin Freeman, director of business development at AlliedCook Construction, was named president of Day One’s board.

Doug Cranshaw was elected vice president; and Zander Abbott, an administrative fellow at Maine Medical Center, was elected treasurer. David Mount was elected secretary.

GENERAL

Integra Strategic Technologies Consulting, LLC of Portland and VONT, LLC of Westbrook, recently announced that the two companies have combined to create a premier web development and digital marketing agency. Integra plans to relocate its offices to VONT’s Westbrook location.
