The Maine Governor’s Energy Office reports that the statewide average cash price for heating oil has dipped 4 cents to $3.67 per gallon.
The office also reported that the average statewide propane price was down 13 cents to $3.27 per gallon and kerosene dropped 3 cents to $4.14 per gallon in the week ending on Monday.
Heating oil averaged $3.58 per gallon, propane $2.77 per gallon and kerosene $4.03 per gallon at this time last year.
Prices varied throughout the state. Northern Maine had the highest average heating oil price at $3.77 per gallon, while southwest Maine had the lowest at $3.63 per gallon.
Central Maine had the highest average kerosene price at $4.20 per gallon and eastern and western Maine tied for the lowest average at $4.11.
