Things that I would love to see happen but probably won’t:
Gov. LePage, Mike Michaud and Eliot Cutler do the right thing and agree together to stop making education, education reform, etc., one of the big issues in this year’s gubernatorial race.
Instead, they all come together in a video and say, “This is for you parents. Education reform is nothing without you.
“If you don’t teach your children to read, if you don’t teach your children the simple joy of reading – if they can’t read by the time they start school – they start out with two strikes against them. It is up to you parents.”
Reform starts at the bottom, not at the top.
