Democratic Rep. Mike Michaud offers a win-win for Maine voters.

When we vote for governor, we can vote our values for the environment and effective, civil government, and avoid another four years of anti-solar, pro-pollution Paul LePage policies.

As Maine Audubon’s advocate, I worked with Mike. He supported protection of freshwater wetlands when it was visionary to care about “swamps.” I witnessed him behind the scenes crafting the river cleanup bill, bringing paper companies and environmental groups together to hammer out legislation dramatically improving Maine’s water quality.

As a member of the Maine Conservation Voters Board, I want a governor who cares deeply about conservation and protecting Maine’s clean air and water, not one who wrongly insists that protecting our natural resources and growing our economy can’t go hand in hand.

Mike Michaud wants to restore Maine’s conservation ethic, trampled by Gov. LePage – and, with your help, Mike can win.
