PORTLAND — A South Portland man faces charges after allegedly driving into several parked cars on Oxford Street on Thursday morning, and then using a pellet gun to threaten a witness who took his car keys.

City spokeswoman Jessica Grondin said Noor Ibrahim, 27, was arrested Thursday around 10 a.m. and charged with operating under the influence, reckless conduct and criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon.

Grondin said Noor allegedly waved a “black handgun” in the air and demanded his keys be returned. He surrendered the weapon, which turned out to be a pellet gun, after police arrived. No one was hurt in the incident.
