Actors have been cast for the lead roles in a forthcoming movie about Barack and Michelle Obama’s first date.

“Southside With You” will take place in 1989 when Obama and then-lawyer Michelle Robinson visited a Chicago art museum and watched Spike Lee’s “Do the Right Thing.”

Actor Parker Sawyers has been cast in the role of Barack and Tika Sumpter will play Michelle, according to reports from The Guardian and MSNBC.

Obama was a first-year Harvard Law student at the time, working as an associate at a Chicago law firm where the younger Robinson was his boss.

The Obamas married in 1992.

Sawyers is known for his roles in Zero Dark Thirty (2012), Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit (2014) and Monsters: Dark Continent (2014).

Tika Sumpter has worked mostly in TV. She did a stint in ABC’s soap opera One Life to Live before winning a recurring role in the CW series Gossip Girl in 2007. In 2013, she was cast in the TV drama series The Haves and the Have Nots.
