The Portland Sea Dogs’ game Tuesday night with the Erie SeaWolves at Hadlock Field was postponed because of rain and wet grounds.

The Sea Dogs opened the gates at 5:30 p.m. and about 300 fans trickled in. But after the umpires met with the managers at 6:30, they decided to postpone the game.

The game will be made up Wednesday as part of a doubleheader, starting at 5 p.m. Both games are scheduled for seven innings.

The appearance of personalities from the North Woods Law television show will be rescheduled.

Wednesday is “Halloween Night” at Hadlock. Fans who come in costume will be invited to participate in a parade between the two games.

On Wednesday, the Sea Dogs (41-78) tentatively will start Aaron Wilkerson (0-0) and Justin Haley (4-13) for the doubleheader. Wilkerson, recently called up from Class A Salem, will make his Hadlock debut.

Portland is in last place in the Eastern League East Division and Erie (45-68) is last in the West.
