Some people are greatly worried about the effects of climate change. It may be, however, that the predicted dire consequences may not actually happen.

Humans have adapted and lived successfully for many thousands of years in a very wide range of local climates from hot humid tropics and hot dry deserts, over the entire temperate regions, to the cold dry Arctic and over the full range of elevations from sea level to high in mountains.

Climate changes very slowly over a very long time, and throughout history people have adjusted and adapted as needed.
