Ryan Dubois, of Lewiston, joined its audit practice. He earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree in business administration from Thomas College.
Elaine Levasseur, of Dayton, was hired as a finance coordinator in the operations department.
Mike Meserve, of Kennebunkport, joined as an audit senior. Meserve focuses on serving the banking industry.
Anne-Marie Palmer was hired as an administrative assistant in the operations department.
Zachary Porter, of Scarborough, was hired as a staff member in the risk and business advisory practice. Porter is a University of Maine graduate.
Casey Pyburn, of Wells, was hired as a helpdesk analyst in the operations department. Pyburn is a graduate of York County Community College.
Tom Quentin, of Saco, was hired as a staff member in the audit practice. He is currently working toward his master’s degree in accounting from St. Joseph’s College.
Theresa Seekamp, of Portland, was hired as a file room administrator in the operations department. She attended the University of Southern Maine.

Baker Newman Noyes recently promoted several people in its Portland office.
Kevin Chase, of South Portland, was promoted to manager in the audit practice. He has been with the firm since 2010, having previously interned with the firm’s audit and tax practices in 2009.
Shelley Duplisea, of Wells, was promoted to audit senior. Duplisea joined the firm in 2013, having previously interned with the tax practice.
Michelle Harvey, of South Portland, was promoted to audit senior. Harvey joined the firm in 2013.
Spencer Hathaway, of Windham, was promoted to audit senior. Hathaway joined the firm since 2013, and previously interned with the tax practice.
Nick Norton, of Presque Isle, was promoted to tax senior. Prior to joining BNN in 2013, Norton was an intern in the tax practice.
Chelsea Reynolds, of New Sweden, was promoted to manager in the audit practice. Reynolds joined the firm in 2009 and specializes in serving clients in the health care and manufacturing industries.
J. Morgan Smith, CPA, of Portland, was promoted to manager in the audit practice. Smith specializes in the commercial and manufacturing industries. Smith volunteers for the United Way of Greater Portland and Florence House.

The Maine Real Estate & Development Association recently recognized two retiring board members.
Jaimie Schwartz, of Bernstein Shur, served as a contributing member of the MEREDA Board for the past 13 years.
Drew Sigfridson, of CBRE | The Boulos Co., retired from board after 12 years of service. Sigfridson served as president from 2012 to 2014.
