ARUNDEL — William Boudreau Sr., 83, of Arundel, died Thursday, May 26, 2016, at Southern Maine Health Care in Biddeford. Will’s long life journey ended peacefully with his family at his side following a brief illness.

He was born Dec. 6, 1932, in Biddeford, the son of Bernard and Roseanna (Murphy) Boudreau, and was educated in Biddeford schools.

On Aug. 9, 1953, he married Constance Bonneau at Notre Dame de Lourdes Church in Saco. They moved to Connecticut in 1953, and he worked for Cly-Del Corp. in Wolcott, Connecticut, for 23 years, retiring in 1994. In 2006, he retired back to Maine.

William was a Little League and Babe Ruth League baseball coach in Connecticut for many years. He loved building furniture and birdhouses, and was an avid bingo player. He enjoyed following the Red Sox, New York Giants and the Boston Celtics.

He is survived by: his wife of 62 years, Constance Boudreau of Arundel; three sons, Eugene Boudreau, M.D., and his partner Omayra Vallentin of Plainville, Connecticut, Stephen Boudreau and his wife Cheryl of Pelzer of South Carolina, and William Boudreau Jr. and his partner Britney Bafaro of Saco; two daughters, Sherry Richardson of Buckeye Lake, Ohio, and Jody-Lynn Ricker and her husband Andy of Spring, Texas; one sister, Ann Nadeau and her husband Lionel of Biddeford; 13 grandchildren; seven greatgrandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
