BIDDEFORD — Carleton W. Fleming Sr., 61, of Biddeford, passed away Monday, May 23, 2016.

He was born in Claremont, New Hampshire, on March 17, 1955, a son of the late Henry and Georgette (Lakis) Fleming. He graduated from Stevens High School.

In 1986, he married Joyce Greenwood Sylvester and then moved to Maine. He became a CNA/Med Tech, and worked at Seal Rock Healthcare in Saco. He retired in 2014.

He was a Master Mason and a member of the Knights Templar and 32nd Degree Scottish Rite. He belonged to Orchard Lodge No. 215, Old Orchard Beach, St. Amand Commandery No. 20 in Sanford, and Valley of Portland in Portland. He was also a life member of Widow’s Sons Masonic Riders Association in Old Orchard.

He is survived by: his wife of 30 years; three sons, Carl Fleming Jr. of Charlestown, New Hampshire, Raymond Sylvester of Wells, and Shon Sylvester of Biddeford; one granddaughter; and three grandsons. He also leaves behind several brothers and sisters, and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date this summer.
