A house in Falmouth was heavily damaged by fire on Friday night, but no one was hurt.
Falmouth Fire Chief Howard Rice Jr. said the fire was reported at 11:36 p.m. at 125 Field Road.
He said about 35 firefighters from Falmouth and Cumberland were able to contain the blaze to a second-floor bedroom and bathroom, but the damage was extensive.
He said the two occupants and a dog escaped without injury.
Rice said the blaze was caused by a bathroom fan malfunction.
