SACO — Kenneth C. Tito, 63, of Irvine, California, formerly of Saco, died Thursday, Sept. 8, 2016.

He was born Nov. 10, 1952, the son of Christo G. and Nora (Joseph) Tito of Saco. Ken attended Saco schools and graduated from Thornton Academy in 1971.

Ken loved to sing and play guitar. After high school, he was an original member of the band TeedFox Springs.

In 1981, Ken packed up his cat and drove cross-country to California. Eventually, he made Irvine his home. While in California, Ken made many wonderful friends whom he considered family. To name a few would leave out many.

Ken most recently worked at J.P. Instruments in Costa Mesa as a senior buyer. Before that, he worked for M-Audio and Pairgain.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved dog, Isyss.

He is survived by: his brothers, Kevin Tito and wife Elaine of Saco, and Bill Tito and wife Jo-Anne of Shapleigh; his sister, Cindy Dines and husband Dave of Rockland; three nieces, Erin Tito of Saco, Christy Dines of Rockland, and Kate Tito of Los Angeles; and his great-niece, Hanley Curtis of Rockland.

A service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5, at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Saco. Officiating will be Father David Robinson, rector of Trinity Episcopal Church, Saco.

In lieu of flowers, donations are welcome to the American Cancer Society or the rescue shelter of your choice.
