He was born April 7, 1949, in Biddeford to Georgette and Chester (PeeWee) Blow. Dennis and Michelle adventured west to California in 1979. They married in 1981, and had a son.
Dennis was a very respected and successful salesman for the Toro company. In 1994, he and his family returned to Old Orchard Beach. They bought Mr. Bill’s Seafood & Pizza, where they fed the community for 17 years. After they retired, Dennis took a parttime truck driving job with CDS in Westbrook.
His passions in life included music – he was an accomplished drummer who also played the accordion and harmonica. He loved adventure, travel and scuba diving, and riding his Harley.
He is survived by: his wife, Michelle Pelletier Blow and son Chad Blow, both of Old Orchard Beach; daughter Bonnie Samilov, granddaughter Skye Gosselin and grandson Jake Samilov, all of Biddeford; siblings Donna Gagne of Old Orchard Beach, Alan Blow of California, Rodney Blow of Sanford, and Glen Blow of Florida; and his dog, Herbie.
There will be a memorial gathering 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 20, at Old Orchard Beach Funeral Home, 36 Portland Ave., with Pastor Mike Gray. Please feel free to speak.
Immediately following the gathering at the funeral home, there will be a celebration of his life at the Whaler in Old Orchard Beach. All are welcome.
