SACO — Elizabeth M. Sylvestre, formerly of Middle Street, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2017, at Evergreen Manor.
She was born in Biddeford on Sept. 23, 1922, the daughter of Francis and Eleanor Peck Murphy.
Elizabeth attended the Old Orchard Beach school system. She worked for several chain stores and most recently for Nike Industries until her retirement.
She is preceded in death by: her husband, Raoul Sylvestre, in 1982, and a sister, Marjorie Murphy.
Survivors include cousins and extended family.
Elizabeth enjoyed all types of animals.
A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, May 4, at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Biddeford.
Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Home and Cremation, 365 Main St., Saco, has been entrusted with her care.
