BIDDEFORD  — Gilbert Collin of Biddford, 79, passed away on May 8, 2017.

He was born in Lac Baker, New Brunswick, Canada, a son to the late Albert Collin and late Alfreda (Belanger Collin) Morin in 1937.

From his young adolescent age, Gilbert was a hard worker as a lumberman, carpentry, forestry and truck driver for local companies.

He was married to Antoinette Raymond (1959-1994) and had five children.

He was predeceased by his sister, Rita Bonenfant, brother Benoit Collin and stepfather Alderic Morin.

He is survived by his brothers, Normand and wife Hermance, Urban and wife Francoise, Renald and wife Alfreda, Rino and wife Luce, Fernand and wife Blandine; his sisters, Mona and husband Real Comeau, Ginette (Bouchard) Collin, Pauline and husband Marcel Bolduc and adopted brother Guy and Linda (St. Onge) Morin; his son, Jerry and wife Lori; daughters Doreen and husband Gervais Beaulieu, Celine Collin, Sandy and husband Ricky Trottier, and Debbie and husband Scott Winslow; nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

No services, a MAss will be held for family only at a future date.
