He was born in San Diego, California on Oct. 27, 1953, a son of the late Leslie Neukam and Barbara (Taylor) Sigman and her husband Wayne. He attended schools in both California and Indiana.
Dennis was a jack of many trades and worked as an Insulator, Paver, Woodworker and a Mechanic. He was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Biddeford.
Pa enjoyed his woodworking and loved fishing and traveling. In his spare time, he could also be found playing billiards and dominoes, and was great on the harmonica. He also enjoyed visiting the zoo.
Besides Fern, he is survived by his two children Maggie and Dennis Neukam Jr.; and four step-children Cindy Wallace of Danbury, New Hampshire, Natalie Hilsinger and her partner Brian Levigne, Kevin Hilsinger and his wife Robin, and Krista Hilsinger ,all of Biddeford. He also leaves many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; as well as sisters Lorraine Stevens and her husband Richard and Lisa Sigmon, brothers-in-law Dan Donnelly and his wife Irene and Robert Donnelly and his wife Pam; and many friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life on Sunday, March 25, 2018 from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Biddeford Eagles Club, 57 Birch St., Biddeford, ME.
