If anyone can make something delicious out of donut-shaped sushi, it’s Austin Miller, the chef at Mami in Portland. Proficiency with unusual ingredients wasn’t enough, however, on Tuesday night’s episode of the Food Network show Chopped, and Miller did not bring home the $10,000 prize.
Miller’s episode was called “A Frog Leg Up,” and included a second mystery basket with frog legs in addition to the donut-shaped sushi.
