SACO — The Thornton Academy baseball team scored four runs in the bottom of the sixth to pick up a 6-4 win over visiting Falmouth on Tuesday afternoon.
TA’s Jacob Laplume brought home the tying run with a single. The senior then stole second base and scored what turned out to be the winning run on an RBI single from Brogan Searle-Belanger.
Searle-Belanger picked up the victory on the hill as he gave up just one run on one hit in two innings of relief. Kolby Lambert got the start and would strike out five over five innings of work.
Cameron Cross, Cameron Seymour and Lambert all had one hit and one RBI in the come-from-behind win.
Thornton improves to 5-1 on the season and will visit Westbrook on Thursday.
Biddeford 13, Deering 3 (5 innings)
The Tigers would put up a seven-spot in the third inning as they cruised to the win at Hadlock Field on Tuesday.
Biddeford, which also scored five times in the fifth, was led by freshman Ashton Crowell and sophomore Kurtis Edgerton with three hits each. Logan Magnant added two hits in the win.
Evan Paquette earned the win on the hill as he allowed three earned runs on six hits with four strikeouts in a complete-game effort.
Noble 7, Bonny Eagle 6
The Knights would get two hits and two RBIs from Jacob Lacroix as they improved to 5-2 on the season.
Noble scored three runs in the bottom the seventh to rally for the win over the Scots.
Owen Podolec, Bryce Cantin and Will Shapleigh all had an RBI in the win.
Bonny Eagle was led by Tyler Fitz with two hits and a pair of RBIs.
SOFTBALL
Biddeford 15, Windham 3 (6 innings)

Chantel Perreault had three hits and six RBIs to power Biddeford to the win on Tuesday.
Brook Davis added three hits and scored four times and Taylor Wildes had three hits and three RBIs in the win for the Tigers.
Katie Stewart earned the win in the circle with four strikeouts and five hits allowed in six innings of work.
BOYS TENNIS
Windham 4, Sanford 1

Brayden Ginchereau earned a hard-fought 1-6, 7-5, 7-4 victory at second singles for Sanford but the Spartans lost the other four matches in straight sets.
GIRLS TENNIS
Windham 5, Sanford 0

Gabby Smith, Anna Cancelarich and Cordelia Inman all won singles matches to power Windham over Sanford on Tuesday.
Sanford falls to 1-5 on the season.
