Studio Theatre of Bath is presenting a night of improv, music, “tomfoolery” and dance when the 7th annual Twisted Christmas is staged Dec. 13 and 14 at Winter Street Center, 880 Washington St. in Bath.

“So many people have told me that this is something that they look forward to every year,” STB president Marc Rodriguez said. “The holidays can be a stressful time, and sitting in a room and laughing with lots of other adults really gives people a boost.”

Described by audiences as fun, hilarious tomfoolery for grown-ups, the variety show features music, comedy, dance, improv, audience participation and classic Christmas themes with a twist.

For the second year in a row, the event’s opening coincides with Bright Night Bath, part of the city’s Old Fashioned Christmas celebration.

“One of the most gratifying things about this show is the number of people, both patrons and performers, that have made it part of their yearly holiday tradition,’ Rodriquez said. “Quirks and traditions are part of what gives personality to a small city like Bath, and we’re extremely proud to be able to contribute to that year after year.”

Doors open at 7:30, tickets may be purchased at the door and there will be a cash bar to add to holiday “spirits.”
