Beverly Anne Wilson

CUMBERLAND FORESIDE – Beverly Anne (Jaccoma) Wilson, 85, passed away peacefully at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House on March 5, 2022. She had spent the two prior years at Ledgeview Assisted Living (now Heron House) in Cumberland Foreside where she received excellent care from their loving workers whom she considered family.

Beverly was born on August 7, 1936, in Washington DC, to Arthur and Evelyn (Randolph) Deibert. She was the youngest of four children and loved spending time with her nieces and nephews who treasure the many wonderful times they spent with her, remembering her laughter, sense of fun and great storytelling.

In 1956, she married Edward Hall Jaccoma, and they had five children. Following a divorce in the 1980s, Beverly turned her passion for cooking into a business and opened The Chef’s Whim Café in Kennebunk. After a successful run, she got her real estate license and sold real estate before meeting and marrying T. Wesley Wilson on Feb. 14, 1994. They lived in Biddeford Pool for many years before moving to Atlantic Heights in Saco, where they enjoyed boating and hosting big family gatherings until Wesley’s death in 2015.

Beverly was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was known for her wit and kind and compassionate spirit. In addition to cooking, she loved animals, playing bridge and was a voracious reader who loved to share her favorite books with family and friends. She gave generously to many charities and, in her final months, prayed for kindness and peace in the world. She will be forever loved and missed by her family.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; two siblings Arthur and Barbara; and husband T. Wesley Wilson. She is survived by her sister Evelyn Alexander; five children, Edward H. Jaccoma, Jr., Michael Z. Jaccoma, Mary E. Snowdon, Barbara A. Gardner, Elizabeth M. Jaccoma and their spouses; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

A private burial will be held in the spring.
