Sonja Bell and Kadin Davoren scored in the first half, Aine Powers got the eventual winner early in the second half, and Yarmouth extended its winning streak to five with a 3-2 victory over Waynflete in a Western Maine Conference girls’ soccer match Thursday in Yarmouth.

Waynflete (4-2) ended Yarmouth’s bid for a fifth consecutive shutout when Lucy Hart connected twice in the second half, both on free kicks, but the Flyers couldn’t complete the comeback.

Regan Sullivan made three saves for Yarmouth (5-1). Waynflete’s Izzy Gleason turned aside nine shots.

CAPE ELIZABETH 4, YORK 1: Noelle Mallory scored four goals to power the Capers (6-1) past the Wildcats (1-4-1) at York.

Kate Herrick had an assist, and Cape goalie Ellis Piper made two saves.

York’s Scarlett Ring converted a penalty kick. Ella Hickey finished with 12 saves.

LAKE REGION 5, ST. DOMINIC 0: Margot Tremblay led the Lakers (4-3-1) with three goals and an assist as they raced past the Saints (3-3-1) in Naples.

Kayleigh Goodwin chipped in with a goal and an assist, and Hailey Brewer also scored. Jordan Blanton earned the shutout with four saves.

Anna Theriault made 12 saves for St. Dom’s.

GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 3, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 2: The Patriots (3-4) got goals from Hannah Bolduc, Ali Portas and Izzy Morelli in a victory over the Rangers (2-5) at Gray.

Abby Joyce made five saves and was also credited with an assist.

Grace Audette and Emily Chaine scored for Fryeburg.

OLD ORCHARD BEACH 3, SACOPEE VALLEY 1: Abby Roy broke a 1-1 tie with a 25-yard direct kick two minutes into the second half, and the Seagulls (3-3) pulled away from the Hawks (0-6) in Hiram.

Sacopee Valley took an early lead when Emma Boulanger curled a corner kick directly into the goal.

Alaynah LeBlond tied it later in the first half, and Tessa Ferguson converted a penalty kick for the final goal.

BOYS’ SOCCER

DEERING 1, SOUTH PORTLAND 1: Casey Corcoran scored with an assist from Luke Tierney-Trevor in the 18th minute for South Portland (1-2-3), but Deering (5-0-2) tied the game on an own goal in the 74th minute as the Class A South rivals played to a draw in South Portland.

Adao Lufumbo-Mbenza made four saves for Deering. Red Riots keeper Michael Zaccaria finished with eight saves.

WINDHAM 4, CHEVERUS 0: Nick Marion, Connor LeClerc and Luke Cunniffe scored, and Lukas Hammond made three saves as the Eagles (7-0) cruised past the Stags (2-4) at Windham.

The Eagles were aided by an own goal.

Griffin MacLeod of Cheverus stopped seven shots.

PORTLAND 5, WESTBROOK 0: Brandon Chacon netted a pair of goals as the Bulldogs (6-0-1) cruised past the Blue Blazes (3-3-1) at Fitzpatrick Stadium in Portland.

Paulo Joao, Ronan Mas and Max Kierstead each added a goal. Griffin Lavertu needed only one save in the shutout.

Jason McCarthy made 11 saves for Westbrook.

FALMOUTH 2, THORNTON ACADEMY 0: Ian Christie and Michael Christman scored as the Navigators (3-2-1) downed the Trojans (0-5-1) at Saco.

GORHAM 4, KENNEBUNK 1: Owen Spera and Tyler Olson each had a goal and an assist to help Gorham (5-1-1) beat visiting Kennebunk (4-2-1).

Jack Luciano and JT Morrell were the other Gorham goal scorers. George Lazos scored for Kennebunk.

YARMOUTH 8, WELLS 0: Mateo Coury scored twice as the Clippers (5-1) cruised past the Warriors (0-4-1) in Wells.

Sam Lowenstein, Adam McLaughlin, Matt Gautreau, Zacarias Binda, Lincoln Thorner and Zach Kelly each added goal.

FRYEBURG ACADEMY 4, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 1: Two second-half goals by Hugo Sala Marseca helped the Raiders (4-3) pull away from the Patriots (3-3) at Fryeburg.

Nivaldo Lucato de Souza Neto and Palaz Diego Pallazolli scored to stake Fryeburg to a 2-1 lead at halftime. Raiders keeper Aidan Clement recorded seven saves.

Noah Hebert was the goal scorer for Gray-New Gloucester, and Caden Ouellette stopped 10 shots.

GREELY 4, POLAND 0: Bez Mendelsohn scored two goals and Aaron Park added a goal and an assist as the Rangers (4-1-1) beat the Knights (3-3-1) in Poland.

Connor Skillin also scored.

Landon Dominski made two saves for the shutout, while Poland’s Sam Palodino stopped nine shots.

LINCOLN ACADEMY 4, LEAVITT 0: Casey Duncan netted a pair of goals and the Eagles (5-0-1) remained unbeaten with a win over the Hornets (1-6) in Turner.

Marcello Endrizzi secured the shutout with three saves. Vanya Bezhenar made 11 saves for Leavitt, and Alex Corey added five.

ERSKINE ACADEMY 1, MEDOMAK VALLEY 0: Holden McKenney got an unassisted goal to lead the Eagles (4-2-1) over the Panthers (4-2-1) in South China.

BIDDEFORD 2, SANFORD 1: Ayla Lagasse was responsible for both Biddeford goals as the Tigers (4-1) edged the Spartans (2-1) in Sanford.

Lagasse’s goals were set up by Corinne Ramunno and Hannah Loranger. Biddeford goalie Cadence Goulet made seven saves.

Ellicia Davis scored for Sanford, which got 12 saves from Megan Sheppard.

FALMOUTH 2, NOBLE 1: Allie Sweetser’s goal in double overtime lifted the Navigators (3-1) over the Knights (1-3) in Falmouth.

Valerie Rand assisted on both Falmouth goals, including the opener by Elizabeth Brown in the second quarter. Leah Randall tied it in the third quarter.

Falmouth’s Jenna Nunley and Noble’s Trinity Valle both finished with two saves.

GORHAM 5, THORNTON ACADEMY 0: Brooke Farquhar led the Rams (6-1) with three goals and an assist as they defeated the Golden Trojans (1-4) in Saco.

SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 11, BOOTHBAY 1: The Phoenix (5-1) had 13 players factor into the scoring in a win over the Seahawks (0-5) at Jay.
