A wise person once said, “Slow down, and everything you are chasing will come around and catch you.”
The recent live-fire shutdown at Spurwink Rod and Gun Club was a blow to our morale, but it has given us a chance to slow down and clear the fog from our vision of the future.
The range is abuzz with excitement as we collectively work to improve the club not only for members but also for the community.
Local firearms clubs and ranges are essential to the American way of life. As Americans, we take on the responsibility of owning firearms and operating them safely. Ranges like Spurwink Rod and Gun Club are essential to American culture as we provide a safe place for local residents to learn about firearms.
A lot of hard work has been done and much has been accomplished since we began range improvements three years ago.
It is our greatest hope that the new and updated Spurwink Rod and Gun Club will be a place of great pride for its current members, future members and neighbors as we all take comfort in an improved shooting facility.
