Bette Brunswick adjusts the wings on Elyse McFarquhar, 17, before the 90th annual Pageant of the Nativity at First Parish Unitarian Church. Brunswick has been working with the costumes for 13 years and before that played Mary in the pageant. Some of the costumes used today were made from materials brought back from Palestine for the first pageant in 1926.
