Scarborough Town Council gives initial approval for Burnham Road land acquisition expenditure
A second vote is needed to give the final okay for an expenditure of up to $140,000 from the Land Acquisition Reserve Fund to purchase the property from a private landowner. The deal has not closed yet, but the funding has been approved.
