Birding in Texas, 7 p.m. Feb. 23, in Brunswick
Join Merrymeeting Audubon for a program about birding along the upper Texas coast. Texas boasts barrier islands, coastal marshes, prairies and southern pine forests, as well as nearly 500 bird species. The presentation will take you on a photographic journey of this area. Reid State Park Outing, 8:30 a.m. Feb. 14, in Georgetown
Merrymeeting Audubon will be searching for grebes, loons and scoters at Reid State Park. Dress warmly and bring a lunch. Meet at the Bath CVS in the Leeman Highway Shopping Center. The outing is free and open to the public. For more information, call 841-1951.
