SCARBOROUGH — Roland P. Corriveau, 84, of Ocean Park, passed away early Wednesday morning on June 1, 2016, at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough.

He was born in Biddeford on Oct. 5, 1931, a son of Alex and Alda (Houle) Corriveau. In 1934, he moved to Hell’s Kitchen in New York. Roland served his country in the United States Army. In 1970, he returned to Maine.

He enjoyed collecting antiques. He was a member of AA Open Hand Group and the Oasis Club, celebrating sobriety for 57 years in 2016.

In 1991, he married his wife, Sheila.

He was preceded in death by one son, Roland, in 1951; three brothers, Raymond and Paul Corriveau and Robert Gobeil; and three sisters, Rachel and Pauline Corriveau and Phylis Gobeil.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Sheila (Walsh) Corriveau.

Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Friday, June 3, at Cote Funeral Home, 87 James St., Saco. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday, June 6, in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Saco.
