Angel Alexander Theriault

SOUTH PORTLAND – Angel Alexander Theriault became a real angel earning his wings on April 18, 2024.

Angel was born Jan. 1, 2008 in Portland to Ashley Theriault and Shane Barrows. He was a straight A student at South Portland High School and prior student at Portland Public Schools.

Angel was very compassionate and would do anything for anyone without hesitation. He was a proud and independent young man who enjoyed his job at Burger King where he worked very hard. Angel loved hanging out with family and friends and was an avid gamer playing with friends from around the world as well as family. Angel loved coming home to cuddle his cat Anubis, riding his bike, exploring the walking trails, and enjoyed swimming every summer at the lakes.

Angel was predeceased by his great-grandfather, Henry Theriault of Portland, great-grandfather, Donald Dyer of Richmond, Va.; and grandfather, Reginald Washby of Westbrook.

He is survived by his mother, Ashley Theriault of South Portland; his brothers Ashton Theriault, Azriel Theriault, and Adonis Theriault; his grandmother, Lisa Theriault of Portland, grandfather, Jonathan Dyer and his fiancé Tammy of Farmingdale and grandmother, Julie Washby of Westbrook; great-grandmother, Wilda (Pelletier) Theriault of Portland, and great-grandmother, Judith (Catler) Dyer of Richmond, Va.

Hi is also survived by his aunts, Teri (Theriault) Stevens and her husband Michael, Cindy (Theriault) Tibbetts and her husband Walter, Marie Theriault, Lauren (Dyer) Campbell and her husband Steve, Carey (Barrows) Thomas and her husband Donald, and Lynne Barrows, uncle, Tom Theriault and his wife Ann; and many, many cousins, and friends.

Although Angel has left this earth, his spirit will watch over us forever as our Guardian Angel until one day, we meet again.

Farewell for now my love.

A remembrance of life will be held at Fort Williams and Internment will be at a later date.

In lieu of flowers,

please make donations in Angel’s name to the:

Yellow Ribbon Teen Suicide Prevention and the Maine Youth Suicide Prevention organizations
