About a year ago, partisan gridlock brought our federal government to a screeching stop. When politicians draw lines in the sand and refuse to work together, it hurts our communities.

Maine is facing enough challenges; we can’t afford political temper tantrums that prevent progress. If we want change, we must elect representatives like 2nd Congressional District candidate Democrat Emily Cain who are committed to solving problems, not playing politics.

For 10 years, Emily has fought tirelessly for her community at the State House. Unlike her opponents, she has a record of working across the aisle and staying at the table to find solutions.

Emily doesn’t give up. She stands up for women, she stands up for victims of violence, she stands up for our youth and their education and she stands up for the middle class. She stands up for all Mainers. Emily isn’t another politician; she’s my role model.
