I recall watching an episode of “North Woods Law” in which the Maine Warden Service was trying to track down a person who left corn out to bait deer during the deer season – because, after all, baiting deer is unethical, illegal and not a legitimate way to control the deer population.
And now these same hypocrites are telling us it is not only OK but also imperative that we shoot bears over doughnuts to help control their population?
I, for one, don’t buy it for a minute. It is simply about money.
The Maine Warden Service has lost a ton of credibility with its stand on this.
