I would like to join the voice of your readers from Peaks Island who commented in an Oct. 16 letter to the editor, urging Democratic Rep. Mike Michaud and independent Eliot Cutler to join forces in order to ensure Gov. LePage is not re-elected. This is a sensible suggestion.
Mr. Cutler has a very strong financial background, and I like what he has to say about how to better Maine. I also like Rep. Michaud a great deal and like what he has to say as well. Isn’t there some way the two of them can come together now to ensure a LePage defeat?
Working together in the same administration would truly make a difference in the next four years for Maine.
I’d hate to see a repeat of four years ago. Please, gentlemen, talk.
